Oil India Ltd Recruitment Drive Eligibility Criteria :
Contractual Nursing tutor :
- Passed B.Sc. (Nursing) from an Institute/University Recognized by Indian Nursing Council, Government of India. Must have minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification relevant professional experience preferably in teaching.
Contractual Pharmacist :
- Passed 10+2 in Science stream from a Government recognized Board/University. Passed 02 (two) years Diploma course in Pharmacy from an institution recognized by Government of India and the Pharmacy Council of India.
- Must have registered with Assam Pharmacy Council and should possess valid professional Pharmacist License. Must have minimum 02 (two) years post qualification relevant work experience as Pharmacist.
Contractual Nurse :
- Passed 10+2 in any stream from a Government Recognized Board/ University. Passed Diploma in Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) from an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council, Government of India. Must have registered with the State Nursing Council. Must have minimum 3.5 (Three & half) years post qualification relevant work experience as Nurse in a Government Hospital or well-equipped private hospital of repute. OR
- Passed 10+2 in any stream from a Government Recognized Board/ University. Passed Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council, Government of India. Must have registered with the State Nursing Council. Must have minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification relevant work experience as Nurse in a Government Hospital or well-equipped private hospital of repute.
Contractual Paramedical Lab Technician :
- Passed 10+2 in Science stream from a Government recognized Board/University. Passed Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (03 year course) from a Government recognized Institute/Medical College. OR

Pharmacist/ Nursing Tutor :
- The candidates will be selected based on Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s)
- The pass marks of the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s) will be minimum 50%. Final selection from among the candidates who have appeared and secured the pass marks of minimum 50% in the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s) will be only on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s).
(Junior Assistant) :
- Only those candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned in this advertisement/notification as on the crucial date will be called for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
- The selection process shall consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT) wherein the qualifying marks will be minimum 40% marks for SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities and minimum 50% marks for others.
- Candidates will be called for Computer Based Test (CBT) only on the basis of their declaration in the completed online application form.
- The question paper for Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of 3 (three) sections as detailed hereunder viz. (A) English Language & General Knowledge/Awareness with some questions on Oil India Limited; (B) Reasoning, Arithmetic/Numerical & Mental Ability and (C) Relevant Technical Knowledge in the course curriculum depending on the post. Accordingly, the Computer Based Test (CBT) will assess the candidates on the following parameters and distribution of marks:
- The Computer Based Test (CBT) will comprise of questions in the multiple choice questions (MCQ) format
and will include questions for testing the requisite skills i.e. proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). - There will be no negative marking in the Computer Based Test (CBT). The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be bilingual i.e. English & Assamese. The total duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 02 (two) hours.
